Beauty of the location, calm, cleanliness, amability of the staff

The menu of the restaurant. Expensive and not very good. The loud music on the beach of the hotel. (we were the only clients on this beach and the staff did not want to put the sound down). Four little bottle of water in the room for the day would be better than three.

Location is unbelievable, in the best part of the island right on the sea. Having breakfast every morning looking at the sea was priceless. The rooms are ample and comfortable.

The hotel is generally run down. It needs a massive renovation. The reception workers are so lost, they don’t provide accurate information nor try to get answers for you. They tried to charged us $1000 deposit for food and drinks at the hotel during our 2 night stay. We found this extravagant at the very least. We managed to not pay anything at the end. The room came with with a very strong chemical smell which was hard to get rid of during the stay. More hammocks or day beds around the pool area are needed.

Nice and relaxing stay at the best beach club

The hotel is at the very end of the hotel strip and allows to have a very chill stay far away from the chaotic city center. We loved the beach club with the nicest beach and water to swim in.

Great location on the island nice and quiet and the beach was beautiful also a perfect spot to watch the sunset even from the room, we stayed at the bungalows 2 and 3 and had a safe and minifridge

The size of the beds, we stayed at the bungalow 2 and 3 they were small for two people and the shower did not have a door which made it uncomfortable since we had to wait outside whenever the other one was taking a shower

absolutely breathtaking views, no other beach in Mexico compared.

amazing location, the best beach in Mexico. The huts were so comfortable, a/c worked well, cleaned daily, such an amazing experience.

The only downside to our trip was the staff/food in the restaurant at Las Nubes. Everyone was very friendly but the service is poor, every time we ate there they would forget at least one dish, sometime 2 or 3. Also my husband, who is Mexican and never gets sick from eating street food, got very sick from the pork one night. That was the only food we ate different from each other that day. For a resort at this level we were surprised at the poor service. Also if you are looking for tours, rentals etc. the prices are better in town, the office staff adds their own fee on top, usually 200 mxn, which is not a big deal just advice that prices are better outside of the hotel with the same service providers.

There were 2 days with intermittently water flow, during room cleaning the glasses and coffee cups were not cleaned neither replaced, bikes need maintenance and should add them flashlight. The beach club & bar charged “extra items” I did not request, it was corrected at the moment it noticed it.

Our stay at las numbes was wonderful. Our breakfast was included. It was verity good. The beach is by far the best in the entire island. I stayed at Aldea Kuka in Feb n was not as beautiful as las nubes. Staff was excellent.

the location on the island is incredible. Away from the busier stretch of beach. felt like you had your own private beach. perfect for kids as the water is so shallow for a few hundred meters out to sea.

service was sometimes very slow. we’d wait for our kids food for nearly an hour sometimes. but I think that’s just island life!

Nice hotel but can't recommend because the beach club is terrible.

Las Nubes is very pleasant and we were pleased with our room. This hotel is one of very few that is actually on the water front and our room had a lovely sea view. Our son had a garden cottage which was very spacious and also had a bit of a sea view. The rooms were cleaned in good time every day and clean towels provided. Food was very well presented and good quality. Whilst we were there the hotel took delivery of some new bikes and we used these one evening to tour the island. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, unlike their colleagues at the beach area. If, as we found, the beach is unusable, there were not many seating areas in the hotel grounds.

We were very disappointed with the beach club. On arrival we wanted to sit on the beach for a bit (at 5pm) but were told that the beach closes at 5. The staff were consistently surly and rude, giving the impression that any requests were a nuisance. We asked the hotel manager to tell them to provide some loungers and had an hour or so before the sun sets (at 7pm). The following morning the beach didn't open until 9.30/10 so there was a wait after breakfast to find a place to sit. Once there, the music (repetitive thumping pop) was so loud it was unpleasant. We asked if it could be turned down but were told that people liked to dance! No one did dance - most of the guests were families and if anyone was thinking of dancing, it would probably have been after 5pm when they close. The hotel has got this completely wrong - it describes itself as an eco hotel, the beach is pretty and there is quite a lot of wildlife around (iguanas, birds, racoons) but thumping techno music throughout the day is intrusive and drove us away after the first day. There were power cuts which cut the music off for a few minutes and it was lovely to hear the wind in the palms and the sea lapping on the shore. None of the other upmarket hotels torture their guests in this manner and even our son (24 and sociable) found it incredibly irritating. We understand that some people like music on the beach and a reduction in volume so the music was 'background' as opposed to headache inducing, would have been acceptable. The beach is raked daily but they don't pick up rubbish that has been raked, such as bits of plastic that have washed up, or 2 or 3 plastic cups that had blown away from the bar. The lounger cushions are filthy. If the hotel wants to attract outsiders to the beach, perhaps it would be better to keep the music relatively low until 5pm then have a sunset period with cocktails, louder music and dancing until 7pm.

excellent facilities but help me get to town by bike!

The location of Las Nubes is ideal. They have a restaurant with a beautiful view of the ocean, the layout of the resort is beautiful with various pools, and trees, and a dedicated beach with a restaurant and different places where you can relax and take advantage of the lush tropical setting. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable usually with an external patio with chairs and an hammock. All rooms have a spacious bathroom with a big shower, a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary coffee and bottled water replenished every day. Also a couple beers to get things started.

The property is 10 minutes away from the main centre of the island where there are all the stores and restaurants. if you choose to walk, it will be 20 minutes away. The property has bikes but they are not well-maintained. This made it difficult/impossible to take advantage of them as one got a flat tire which was not repaired for days. Staff did not really encourage or facilitate the use of the bikes even though they were advertised as part of the amenities offered and this was disappointing. It was the only disappointing thing, but an important one.
